Moisten. Allow the warm water to run thoroughly through your hair before applying any product. From roots to ends glide your fingers through your hair. A gentle, steady motion will remove the surface layer of dirt.

Shampoo application. For shoulder-length hair, a hazelnut-sized amount of shampoo is sufficient. Put the product in one hand, then distribute it between both hands by rubbing your palms together and spread it from roots to ends.

In order for the shampoo to penetrate well and reach all parts of the scalp, you should gently massage it into the scalp. Do not use your nails or scratch. You only need circular movements in which you feel the skin move a little on the skull. Do you know this sensation?

First rinse. After about three minutes of this procedure, you can rinse your hair with lukewarm water. Press your hair while rinsing it as if you wanted to make a ponytail, to remove the shampoo thoroughly.

Second rinse. This time it's cold water. This closes the cuticles and increases the shine.

Conditioner. Conditioner is an additional product that complements your efforts. The hair is grateful for it. It is silkier and more manageable for styling. Conditioner should only be applied to the ends. A spoonful is enough and for better distribution you can use a wide bristle brush - gently and without tugging! Your hair becomes more fragile when wet.

If you use a hair treatment or hair mask, then you don't need conditioner in this step, but after the hair mask.

Masks and treatments. The application procedure is similar to that of the conditioner. However, to enhance its effect, we recommend covering the head with a hot towel or shower cap. The heat will allow the active ingredients of the product to penetrate through the cuticle and into the core of the hair. Leave the mask on for the time indicated by the manufacturer and not a minute longer.

Final rinse. This is the last rinse with cold water. Strive to get the hair nice and clean.

Drying. You shouldn't dry your hair by rubbing it with a towel. You probably do, but this way of drying your hair makes it more tangled and brittle in the long run. The right way to take care of your hair when drying is to wrap it in a towel. In less than three minutes the towel absorbs excess moisture.

I know that each of us has our own habits when it comes to blow-drying our hair. Ideally - if you're not in the winter season - let your hair air dry. Blow dryers and straighteners tend to damage it.

Hairstyle. Various substances help you with the styling. You can use anything from a protective tip protector, to a styling gel or a spray for volume. Never brush hair when it is wet, and comb gently until you get the desired look.

So that's the whole process of how to care for your hair and wash it effectively.

In addition to care during washing pay attention to the way you comb your hair, the chemicals you use (dyeing and perming) and the frequency with which you use tools (dyeing and perming) and how often you use dryers, Straighteners, styling irons... Taking care of your hair requires a moderate use of all the above mentioned elements.
