We must be aware of the importance of breast cancer prevention.

How can we do this?
- Visit your gynaecologist on a regular basis.
- Don't be in doubt, ask your doctor about everything.
- Lead a healthy life

AND... TAKE IT!
Breast self-examination will help you to detect any abnormalities.
We recommend that these checks be carried out once a month.

Here are the steps so you can do it at home ;)

STEP 1

In front of the mirror, inspect the size and contour of each breast for abnormalities.

POSSIBLE ANOMALIES
Nipple leaking fluid, nipple engorgement, orange peel, dimpling, rashes, folds.

STEP 2

With your hands on your hips, lean slightly towards the mirror and pull your shoulders and elbows forward.
Note the shape and contour, and look for changes.

STEP 3

Clasp your hands behind your head and push them forward.
Look for any changes in shape: swelling, scaling, rashes, discolouration or other unusual skin changes.

STEP 4

Lift your arm with your fingertips, examine the breast starting at the upper area of the breast in a clockwise, circular motion inwards.
Do this with both breasts.

STEP 5

Lying on your back, with one arm over your head and a pillow or towel under your shoulder, perform the above examination technique.
From the outside to the inside of the breast, using circular movements.

Remember, if you notice any abnormalities, make an appointment with your gynaecologist.
At Soivre we are ALWAYS with you.
