It's a mixture of strange sensations that we feel when we look in the mirror and see that our skin is showing signs of flaccidity. And the worst thing is that we have noticed how the situation worsens with the passage of time. Don't know what to do? At SOIVRE we tell you about it.
Cheer up, we are a crowd!
Millions of women around the world struggle with sagging skin on a daily basis. We can combat this problem if we incorporate a series of good practices to prevent sagging skin into our care and beauty routine ;-)
There is no magic wand, no formula, no life-saving surgery that will eliminate the problem. But it is true that flaccidity disappears or is attenuated if we attack it on different fronts such as: nutrition, natural cosmetics, exercise, massage, emotional health, healthy habits, posture and environment.
And remember, success lies in perseverance and it is also necessary to be patient. Think that it has slowly appeared on your skin and at the same pace it will disappear.

Why does the skin become flaccid?
- The skin becomes flaccid as a result of a lack of nutrients due to a unbalanced diet or rich in sugary and processed foods.
- Fibroblasts are the cells in your skin that produce collagen and elastin. Over time, fibroblasts become less active.
- Lack of physical exercise to tone the muscles that support the skin.
- Emotional states that generate tension and the blood vessels in your muscles contract. This contraction disrupts nutrient absorption and other cellular processes.
- By sudden changes in weight or pregnancy, these changes do not give the previously stretched connective tissues time to gradually regain their new size.
- The menopause decreases collagen production and the skin loses firmness as a result.
Tips for firming skin and preventing sagging
To begin with, let's take this change slowly. No more unnecessary stress and anguish! Believe it or not, your emotions leave traces on your skin. Let's relax and carry out our plan with respect for our body, gratitude for all that it gives us, and love.
Face and body massages
Massages will cause the muscles to relax, the skin's circulation to improve and for the tissues to decongest. Ideally, every day - if you can - you should dedicate a few minutes to a short self-massage session.
For your face, we recommend a thorough cleansing with the micellar water SOIVRE to remove traces of make-up or dirt. On a daily basis you can also use our Flash Lifting ampouleswhich combat dryness, dullness and sagging skin thanks to their exceptional combination of active ingredients: collagen, vitamin C, hyaluronic acid and aloe vera.
In addition, in the morning you can apply our SOIVRE grape facial creamwhich is the most suitable for skin with sagging and wrinkles.
You'll get firmer, silkier skin!
On the body apply our Argan oil body cream on a daily basis. It is highly nourishing, deeply moisturises, revitalises and firms the skin all over the body. And if you can, apply it with a gentle massage as this will favour its absorption.
Exercises to gain tone and firmness
Sagging skin is an expression of muscle weakness.. Therefore, you need an exercise routine for toning :-)
You can go to the gym and get advice from a trainer who will give you a series of exercises to strengthen and tone your muscles. Once you learn the routine well, you can do them at home on your own. And... be patient. Don't expect results in one month, at least 3 to 6 months will be necessary.

What to eat to firm the skin?
Some foods that promote collagen production and firmness in the skin and that you should add to your diet are: avocado, spirulina algae, carrot, apple, plant-based milks, almonds, sesame seeds, olive oil, honey or royal jelly, aloe vera juice and the foods rich in vitamin C.
